Dear Residents and Family Members,
It is so exciting to announce that Visitation Restrictions have been lifted. We are happy to have visitors return to our facilities however, please know visitation still requires visitors to be screened prior to entering Resident Care Areas. Please understand due to the CDC requirement of screening visitors you may incur a delay in entering the facility, we will do everything we can to expedite your entering Resident Care areas so you can spend precious time with friends and family member residing in our facility.
Please keep in mind that CDC guidelines remain in place for wearing a well-fitting mask, hand hygiene and maintaining social distancing if resident has not received the 2 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. Entering our facility is not dependent on visitor(s) having been vaccinated or COVID-19 tested however we at our Orchid Cove facilities we are willing to provide you at no cost COVID-19 testing should you desire to be tested prior to entering Resident Care Area (COVID-19 testing requires a 15 wait for results).

“This notice is to inform you that as of February 2nd, we have a total of two new confirmed residents at OC at Labelle, who tested positive for COVID-19 and two new staff member who tested positive for COVID-19, last worked from January 31st.
Total staff members who remain at home on quarantine, are five and the rest have recovered.
At this time, there are no other staff who have presented with any COVID-19 symptoms, and we have not had any other positive tests. A facility-wide mass testing event was done this week from February 3-4 and another is scheduled for next week.

OC at Lake Placid – -This notice is to inform you that we received confirmation on 1/27/2021 that 2 staff members at Orchid Cove of Lake Placid tested positive for COVID-19. These staff members last worked on 1/27/2021 and have since been quarantined at home. No other staff have presented with any COVID 19 symptoms.
There are 2 residents who tested positive for COVID 19 on 1/20/2021. No additional tests were positive. We are having a facility-wide mass testing twice weekly and will continue to inform everyone of any further positive results.
